BREWERY
– RESTAURANT NOVOSAD in Harrachov is a
part of the oldest private glass factory Novosad & Son in The
Czech Republic (founded before 1712). A typical brewery-like
restaurant offering unforgettable atmosphere is a great attraction
mainly because of its own beer production (brewed in front of the
guests). Additionally, the restaurant is connected with glass factory
which provides visitors with an exceptional opportunity to taste
local beer and witness glass manufacturing.
Yeast
beer from Harrachov is famous for its unique taste and high quality.
Traditional ingredients like malt and hop are used for its
production. It owes its delicious taste and good influence on health
to water from an old mountain well over 100 years old. Two kinds of
light beer are offered (František 12%, Hut’ská 8%) and a dark
beer named Čert’ák 12%. Beer is served in stylish glasses
manufactured in a local glass factory. The brewery and glass factory
are frequently visited by crowds of tourists coming to The Karkonosze
Mountains. It is also the destination for organizing company events,
reunions, group meeting during which a tour of a glass factory is one
of the attractions. At weekend evenings guests can enjoy listening to
live music and dance to it too. The place offers souvenirs connected
with beer and its production.
