Glass
Factory Novosad & Son is a private,
second oldest glass factory in The Czech Republic. It has preserved
its traditional production system till today. During factory tour
visitors can witness glass production and processing according to old
manual technologies. The tour includes visiting 100 years old
historical glass grinding workshop, power-driven by transmission
belts and propelled by a water turbine. Almost everything is
preserved in its original form and fully functioning. A guided tour
is offered in Czech, German or English language. Owing to its high
popularity among tourists it is recommended to book the tour in

The
factory is open for visitors from Monday till Sunday 8.00 am – 3.00
pm. The factory and museum tour takes about
1 hour.
